(Cincinnati, Oh.) - Eight barges are secure on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River after breaking from their moorings.
It happened Sunday afternoon about 2:00 along River Road between North Bend and Taylorsport roads.
The U.S. Coast Guard and Cincinnati fire crews were able to re-secure the barges after several hours of work.
The Coast Guard was already on the river conducting training nearby and responded quickly.
No injuries were reported.
