(Batesville, Ind.) - “The General” is coming to Batesville.
Hall of fame basketball coach Bob Knight will speak at a fundraising event for the Batesville Community Education Foundation on Fathers Day, June 17.
Knights, who led Indiana University to three national championships, will first meet with approximately 50 fans at 1:00 p.m. at Batesville High School. That will be followed by a speech to a larger audience in the high school auditorium at 2:30.
Batesville Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Jim Roberts said tickets will go on sale soon. Individuals wishing to get on a contact list for this activity should e-mail jroberts@batesville.k12.in.us.
