(Hebron, Ky.) - Dozens of people flying out of the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport are back home, despite security delays that caused many to miss their flights.
CVG officials said a broken scanner caused passengers to wait nearly 90 minutes to get through security checkpoints at Terminal Two on Monday.
Increased traffic after the Flying Pig Marathon magnified the problem, officials said.
People were rebooked on later flights once they made it through security.
