Dearborn Dems To Meet Voters


(Dillsboro, Ind.) – The Dearborn County Democrat Party will allow voters to meet their entire slate one last time before the May 8 primary.

 

The party will host a Meet the Candidates event on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Dillsboro Town Hall.

 

None of the Democrats running for a county office face opposition in the primary.

Philip “Flippy” Darling is running for county commissioner in District 1. He’ll face off against Republican Kevin Lynch in November.

 

Incumbent District 2 commissioner Tom Orschell is also unopposed on the Democrat primary ballot. He will face Republican Arthur Little in the general election.

 

Rudy M. Howard, Jr. is trying to become Clerk of Courts against Republican Rick Probst.

 

In Dillsboro, David “Woody” Fryman is running as a Democrat for District 3 town councilman. 

 

District 67 State Representative candidate Tom Cheek, of Aurora, will also appear at the meeting.
