Drug Search Locks Down Rising Sun HS

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Rising Sun High School was put on lockdown Thursday morning.

 

Ohio County Community Schools superintendent Steve Patz said police had brought in K9 officers for a routine drug sweep of the school.

 

The lockdown started at 10:00 lasted a little over half an hour. Students and staff remained locked in their rooms as police searched the building.

 

It’s unclear if officers found any drugs.
