(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Tuesday, May 8 is primary election day in Indiana.
Polls across the state will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Turnout is expected to be around 30 percent.
Hoosiers are reminded that state law requires voters show a photo ID before casting a ballot. For that reason, all Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches offer citizens free photo IDS.

You can check where your polling place is located, view your voter registration status, and see a sample ballot by logging on to www.IndianaVoters.com or calling the Hoosier Voter Hotline at (866) 461-8683.
