(Bright, Ind.) - A Harrison mother is accused of driving drunk, causing an accident, and leaving the scene with her child in the car.
Dawn L. O’Connor, 34, was allegedly intoxicated when she crashed into a mailbox on the 23100 block of Stateline Road in Dearborn County on Thursday, April 12. She then fled the scene with her nine-year-old son in the car.
The accident occurred about a mile from O’Connor’s home on Bond Road in Ohio.
Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies administered a breath test which showed O’Connor’s BAC was .15.
O’Connor was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated, OWI with a Person Less than 18 Years of Age, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
