(Highland Heights, Ky.) - The search for a new president at Northern Kentucky University could be coming to an end.
Either Frostburg State University president Jonathan Gibralter or Cleveland State University provost Geoffrey Mearns could be selected as the school’s fifth president.
A third candidate, Ferris State University president David Eisler, said over the weekend he has withdrawn from consideration.
The Board of Regents has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday morning to name the new president
Current NKU president James Votruba is retiring this year after 14 years. In his tenure, Votruba has guided NKU to enrollment of 15,000 students and 2,000 staff.
