Update posted at 12:55 p.m.:
Lawrenceburg Police said the accident occured when one vehicle rear-ended another in the left lane of westbound U.S. 50 near the intersection with State Road 48.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries with only one of the two being taken to the hospital.
The accident scene has been cleared.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Injuries are reported in a crash on U.S. 50 in Lawrenceburg Thursday morning.
Two vehicles collided on the highway at the intersection with State Road 48 at about 10:50.
Dispatchers said at least one person was transported by ambulance to Dearborn County Hospital. The victims’ names and conditions have not been released.

Traffic on the highway is slow as police and firefighters work to clear the crash scene.
The accident is under investigation by Lawrenceburg Police.
